The juicer is made of smooth white stoneware from Saint-Amand (France), wheel-thrown in one piece, with the pulp-extracting ridge added by gluing. The spout is tapered to a finger-width. The piece is entirely handmade, bisque-fired at 980°C for 8 hours, glazed (white glaze), and then fired again at 1280°C for about ten hours.
